Take a tour of our outdoor exhibits with one of our knowledgeable Docents.  You will see fire and farm equipment that was once used in and around Porterville.

The outdoor exhibits area also includes commemorative tiles, native plant species and a large, historic cast iron bell that once hung in the old firehouse.

Before exiting the grounds be sure to see the cross-cut section of a Giant Sequoia Tree on display near the "D" Street gate.  Each visible ring of the tree trunk represents one year.  Markings on the rings form a timeline of significant events in history that occurred during the tree's lifetime.
