The Museum is honored to house an extraordinary collection celebrating the unique craftsmanship and intricate designs of local Native Americans.  To learn the hidden meanings behind the masterful basket construction and designs, and to understand how Native American's fashioned useful tools out of items available in their surroundings, like the woven baskets and mortars and pestles used for grinding acorns and corn (shown above), contact one of the Museum's Docents.  Ask them to show you the beaded belts, charmstones, bows and arrows and other artifacts also in the collection.
